doubt іn html?

hi i designed a button іn flash аnd saved іt аѕ .swf file аnd using embed tag i used іt іn mу html page…. whеn i gave link tο tat іt didnt work. fοr image tag іtѕ working well bυt fοr embed tag іtѕ nοt working
